I remember when people would discourage others from getting tumblr because it was a special place. Our place. And we knew no one would understand our trolling and sass. People expect to come here and find an actual blog but instead they are met with a new community of people with restless minds seeking escapism via words, art and the acceptance of strangers. I speak for myself when I say I spend so much time on tumblr because it stimulates my mind in ways urban city life cannot.

I seek escapism and inspiration here, leaving expression only to be found in my numerous journals. For the time being, it is all too personal to share on such a public forum.
